Pick-up Instructions
Upon arrival at Genoa Airport, follow the “Rent-a-Car” signs from the Arrivals Hall. The Locauto rental desk is located inside the Car Rental Area on the ground floor, just a short walk from the terminal exit. Present your booking confirmation, driving license, and ID to collect your vehicle.
Return (Drop-off) Instructions
Please return your vehicle to the same Locauto location at Genoa Airport. Follow the “Car Rental Return / Autonoleggi” signs to the designated parking area. Park your car in the Locauto bays and return the keys to a staff member inside the office.

Pickup Rental Instructions
Leaving the terminal, you have to wait for the free shuttle that runs very frequently and stops right in front of the terminal. Within a few minutes, the shuttle reaches the rent-a-car area located in Via Palagio degli Spini snc. Here, you will have to cross the parking, following the signs Locauto Rent, and get to the office which is located in the vicinity of the parking . Serge Mathas and his staff will be happy to serve you at best.
Return Rental Instructions
To return the vehicle, follow the signs “Rent-a-car” or “Autonoleggi” and then follow the Locauto Rent signs.

1) A Valid Driving Licence
The lead driver must have a valid driving licence. You must have held your driving licence for at least 1 year before the rental start date.
Licence in English Alphabet
The licence should be from your Country of domicile (where you live) and if it is NOT in the English or Roman alphabet then you will also need an International Driving permit (IDP). Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver licence.
2) A Credit or Debit Card in The Name of The lead Driver
A Credit or Debit card in the name of the lead driver is required. Please note: The Visa Credit, MasterCard Credit card must be valid for at least 2 months after drop-off.
3) Proof of Identity
The rental company will accept your passport or ID card.
4) A Car Rental Voucher
If you book online you will be issued a car rental voucher, this must also be presented to Loauto Genoa.
