Heidelberg

One last drive that should be done while in Frankfurt is only 45 minutes, but is well worth it. Head to the city of Mainz, which dates back to 38 BC. It is home to Germany’s oldest Romanesque cathedral, known as Dom St. Martin. The drive to Mainz is easily travelled if you hop on the A60.
